A New Holy Grail?

Hello! I have been MIA for a few weeks which I apologise for, but I shall explain with a life update post on the weekend (so my YouTube Made Me Buy It will start again next weekend). For now, I wanted to write this semi short post. My third post on this blog was about my five unspoken favourites, and one of them was the Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Makeup Remover which I swear by as it was the only thing that removed my waterproof mascara without hurting my eyes. Well, now I have found another product which does the exact same job, but for a way cheaper price.

P1000116

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Makeup Remover is £9 for 150ml, whereas the Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover is £3.69 for 125ml. I have not done any calculations in a long time, but even though Nivea’s bottle is 125ml, it is still way more cheaper than the Body Shop per 100ml. When seeing the adverts, I wasn’t sold on the product since nothing else from the drugstore had worked (not even the Garnier Micellar water which is raved everywhere) but it wasn’t until I read allthingliza‘s post (who you should totally follow!) as it was part of her favourites. So, I went to Superdrug because of the 10% student discount but on top of that, it was on offer for £1.75. But, even at its full price, it is incredibly affordable. It worked like wonders the first few times I have used it, so I think that it’ll be my go to product once I have finished using my body shop makeup remover.

You can purchase it at your local Boots and Superdrug here in the UK, I am sure it would be the same elsewhere for your drugstores. Do you have a product that you swear by? Do let me know! I hope to get the swing of things in terms of blogging again so I hope you all have a great day!

    1. Definitely check it out, I love the Micellar water for my face but it just doesn’t do anything with my eye makeup 😞xx

      1. Yeah agreed! It takes awhile to scrub off mascara with that stuff
